'Walking in the footsteps of Sir Ernest Shackleton'

Thursday, 28 May 2009 20:31

Earlier this year, Henry Adams, a colleague of Jolyon's at Birketts, returned from an unsupported walk to the South Pole, following in the footsteps of his great grandfather who did the very same thing 100 years ago with Sir Ernest Shackleton. He will be telling us about his experience and although very few (if any!) of us will emulate him I'm sure we will all be able to draw from the lessons learned with regard to planning, teamwork and dealing with adversity (especially in the current economic climate!).
