The Woodland Trust

Thursday, 17 November 2016 00:00

At our meeting this week we will be finding out about the Woodland Trust.  The speaker is Jim Rice, the Regional Development Officer for the Woodland Trust, covering the South East region from his base in Colchester.

The Woodland Trust is the country’s largest woodland conservation charity with over 500,000 members and supporters, and more than 1,100 woods, including local sites at Fordham Heath and Elmstead Market. They protect and campaign on behalf of the country’s woods, plant more trees, and restore ancient woodland, for the benefit of wildlife and people.
