Implications of The New Bribery Act

Thursday, 21 July 2011 00:00

The Bribery Act came into force on 1 July 2011 to replace the current outdated and confusing UK laws on corruption and indicates the regulators' intention to place stricter control on bribery and corruption. Leah Finnegan of Birketts LLP will be discussing the background to the Act, its implications and the compliance procedures companies will need to implement within their businesses.
